The Blaenau Gwent project is in the the starting blocks !The Blaenau Gwent project is in the the starting blocks ! The contractor has been chosen, the detail design has been finalized, a revised tender price has been accepted following several modifications, most notably to reduce the amount of roof glazing to reduce the cost. However the works cannot commence yet because the planning process has been extremely complicated. Consequently the construction programme has been delayed. Works should begin in September, for completion in February 2011 . In our next newsletter we should be able to see the early stages of the new building... |
